As you can tell, I have really been neglecting my blog as of late. So far, my year has been extremely busy, busier than I could have imagined. Last week I shot 15 homes, about one tenth of the business I did all of last year, I did in a week. I am so grateful and thankful. Because of how busy I have been, I have not been update my site or my Facebook page. I am hoping now that I have a handle on things, I will stay up to date with my sites and post more frequently. So to start the posts off, here are a few pictures I took of a home in Orchard Park.

616 Falls Road – West Falls, New York
3 03 2011I always enjoy it when I have shoots in the Southtowns. Most of my work happens on the north side of Buffalo and I have become quite familiar with many of the the Northtowns. However, even though I live south of Buffalo, every time I have a around home, I seem to end up in an area I never knew about. The shoot for 616 Falls Road was one of the times when I found myself in an area I had never explored before. Boy am I glad that I was able to photograph this home, it is one of the nicest ranch homes I have ever been in.

3 Brothers Wineries and Estates
23 02 2011During the Fall of 2010, I had the privilege of being able to document much fo the 3 Brothers Wineries & Estates harvest. The 3 Brothers project was the culmination of many different aspects of photography. My time at 3 Brothers was spent I documenting harvest, photographing the interiors and exteriors of the buildings, creating new images of products for online shopping, capturing panorama of tasting areas, and much more. I cannot say enough positive things about owners Dave and Luanne, manager Erica, vineyard manager Justin, and the rest of the staff at 3 Brothers. Everyone there made my job easy and best of all enjoyable. I was able to learn so much and briefly experience a lot of what it takes to run a winery.
Once my time at 3 Brothers came to a close, my job was to deliver a video that introduced 3 Brothers Wineries and Estates to visitors interested in traveling to the Seneca Lake area of New York. Here is the culmination of my time at 3 Brothers.
While the main focus was to create the video, I also wanted to create imagery that would be special to 3 Brothers Wineries and Estates, using their people and places so that visitors would already have a connection to the winery.
Finally, I created imagery of the wine and beer bottles so that they could be used as part of the shopping area of the 3 Brothers’ website. I decided to do two versions of each bottle, one on pure white and the other with a brownish orange background. This gave options to use the images in other areas of marketing besides only the online store.

75A Oakbrook – Amherst, New York
18 02 2011I shot this very nice condo a little while back. It may not look very large from the front, but once inside this great home, you realize just how large it is. With many bedrooms and an expansive basement, 75A Oakbrook would be a comfortable place to live for any family.

160 Norwood Lane – Orchard Park, New York
3 02 2011Norwood Lane is part of a great new sub-division that is just to the east of Orchard Park. This is the first home I have photographed in this area of Orchard Park. One of the nice features of the particular home is that it is located near the back of the division and the division is on the smaller side, making this home very quiet. What a nice place to live.

160 South Forest – Amherst, New York
31 01 2011What a wonderful home 160 South Forest is. It is a completely remodeled and updated home with one of the largest kitchens I have ever been in and one of the nicest master suites. The backyard was a private oasis with a pool and many garden like features. Two garage areas meant that there was plenty of space for all sorts of vehicles and a carriage house is a great feature for extended families.

74 Jordan Road – Amherst, New York
27 01 2011Typically ranch style homes do not excite me very much and initially 74 Jordan fell into the stereotypical ranch, looking at it from the exterior. However, once inside, I realized that this home was much more than what I originally thought. The interior was be completely redone. The bathrooms have been updated and so had the kitchen. The old garage was been converted into a huge family room and then a new garage was added. The back yard was fenced in and had a nice area to play in for kids. This is a great home.

73 Graystone Lane – Orchard Park, New York
10 01 2011I pass the Graystone sub-division all the time on my way to the local mall. Every time I pass it, I always say to myself, or my wife, when am I going to get to shot a house in there? 73 Graystone is the first house that I was able to shoot in this area of Orchard Park and it is a good one. Large spaces and a nice master bedroom really set this house apart from other homes is the area.

63 Forester Court – Amherst, New York
20 12 2010What a great setting. Backed up to the woods, 63 Forester Court is just about as close to living in the woods or forest while still having the convenience of living in the suburbs. Stepping out back to the patio is like relaxing in your own private woods.

30 Hidden Pond – East Amherst, New York
15 12 2010I never knew that there was a private drive such as this in East Amherst. Just minutes or less from everything on Transit Road, this home sits on a cul-de-sac that is extremely quiet. 30 Hidden Pond is just a lovely ranch home that may not look too large from the street, but once inside, reveals to be quite a large home with many nice sized bedrooms.
